Burn Gorman, you delight me. Also you, Tom Price. And your adorable wife. Who is not in this picture. But who I stalk just the same.

8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?
I’m going to pick several because they are all important for very different reasons. And because I do what I want.
a taste of red - (Torchwood - gen - team) - For obvious reasons, I have deep love for when Gwen Cooper is the cutest cannibal ever.
There Are Those Long Days (There Is This Dumb Luck) - (White Collar - Neal/Elizabeth/Peter) - Reading this still makes me chuckle at their stupid, precious, OT3 faces.
but we keep knitting together (strangely, inevitably) - (Supernatural [technically a crossover with Doctor Who, but really only borrows a baddie] - Dean/Castiel, Dean + Castiel) - Mostly I’m just proud that I didn’t give up on this monstrosity when it became something so much bigger than what I intended? It’s far from perfect, but I didn’t just let it fester on my harddrive like 90% of the things I start that grow out of my hands. GO ME!
9. What is your least favourite piece that you have done?
I’ve got a lot of shame tied up in the RPS I’ve written. As previously mentioned. So most of my bandom stuff just makes me want to crawl into bed and never get out these days. And I wrote a LOT of words the year or so I was in bandom. And now I’ve met and talked with and traded emails with some of the people who were in some of those stories and that is sooooo a big ol’ glaring line for me that I suddenly found myself on the awkward side of. So yep. We’ll go with all of bandom. And particularly anything I wrote about Ryan Ross or Pete Wentz because I didn’t even LIKE them.

Look, it’s just that sometimes I miss Owen.

Mostly I miss Burn Gorman in regular doses, though.

Fic Series: walking wounded
Fandom: Torchwood
Characters/Pairings: Owen Harper, Ianto Jones, Toshiko Sato, Gwen Cooper, Jack Harkness. Owen+Ianto mostly.  Eventually Owen/Ianto and then more eventually Owen+Ianto again.

Like three years ago when I still gave a shit about Torchwood, I started writing this epic story about Owen mostly that’s also a lot about Ianto and also a lot about how I think maybe they get to be friends and that they should just make out sometimes (and yes, I recognize the EPIC unpopularity of that opinion), particularly in the break between S1 and S2 when Jack disappears. The whole thing runs through the end of S2, theoretically, because there’s such an interesting shift in Owen and Ianto’s relationship between the first series and the second. To me, at least.

I wrote a fair amount of it. I never finished it. Because I never finish anything, ever.

And like a year ago, I told myself I was going to just post whatever bits of it were done, as they are mostly standalones that just happen to follow an arc if you look at them in order, and I threw a couple of them up on the internets and then quickly just pushed it all to the back of my mind again.

Now that I’m at the point where I really don’t even care if anyone reads them or not, I am actually trying to put them on the internet. For realz this time. Because no one actually WILL read these because no one likes Owen, and everyone loves Jack (and I don’t, and he hardly features in this series), and does ANYONE still give a shit about Torchwood anymore? And DID anyone ever give a shit about Torchwood fics that aren’t about Jack and Ianto? Not in my experience.

But maybe there’s one person out there that gives a fuck, so I’m just saying. Here. This exists. And if you care, you’re probably my long lost fandom soulmate or something.
