Fangirl Challenge: [8/10] Female Characters, Martha Jones
“I spent a lot of time with you thinking I was second best, but you know what? I am good.”
Basically, my roommate and everyone I know on the internet with a few exceptions all go to Dragon*Con every year, which doesn’t appeal to me at all as I hate large crowds of people.
UNLESS THEY’RE ON THE INTERNET! (Actually, even that isn’t true, but whatever.)
So here is a post where you can hang out with the internet while all the rest of the internet is in Atlanta hanging out together.
ALL THE FANDOM. NONE OF THE FACE-TO-FACE SOCIAL ANXIETIES!
Get up in there. Prompt things. Write things. Post gifs. Talk about how handsome Rupert Graves is. Talk about how great Bobby Singer is. Draw a picture of a horse. Because that’s almost always funny because fuckin’ HORSES, man.
Q: Is there any chance we’ll have a Doctor Who cameo, and who do you think would have the last word, the Doctor or Sherlock? Or you think they’d fight till the end of time?
Moffat: Me. I’d have the last word and it will be a stage direction. No, I don’t know. It would be a very, very odd meeting. And I don’t think either of them would like it. I saw it always that way. I’ve tried to imagine what such a meeting they- I- They live in very different universes, I’m not really sure that’s ever gonna work. But they- Sorry. But I’ve always thought the meeting that would be more funny- fun between John Watson and Amy Pond. They could be chat in a scene, they’ll be chatting away “What’s your one like? What’s your one like?” John would be chatting it off, and it will be getting somewhere and they’ll both stand up.
This would actually be the only crossover of these two shows I would care to see.

![8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?
I’m going to pick several because they are all important for very different reasons. And because I do what I want.
a taste of red - (Torchwood - gen - team) - For obvious reasons, I have deep love for when Gwen Cooper is the cutest cannibal ever.
There Are Those Long Days (There Is This Dumb Luck) - (White Collar - Neal/Elizabeth/Peter) - Reading this still makes me chuckle at their stupid, precious, OT3 faces.
but we keep knitting together (strangely, inevitably) - (Supernatural [technically a crossover with Doctor Who, but really only borrows a baddie] - Dean/Castiel, Dean + Castiel) - Mostly I’m just proud that I didn’t give up on this monstrosity when it became something so much bigger than what I intended? It’s far from perfect, but I didn’t just let it fester on my harddrive like 90% of the things I start that grow out of my hands. GO ME!
9. What is your least favourite piece that you have done?
I’ve got a lot of shame tied up in the RPS I’ve written.As previously mentioned. So most of my bandom stuff just makes me want to crawl into bed and never get out these days. And I wrote a LOT of words the year or so I was in bandom. And now I’ve met and talked with and traded emails with some of the people who were in some of those stories and that is sooooo a big ol’ glaring line for me that I suddenly found myself on the awkward side of. I continue to be amused/annoyed by this line, as it’s just recycled from Steven Moffat’s Jekyll: “Ever killed anyone, Benjamin? You’re missing out. It’s like sex only there’s a winner.”
