Because I don’t have HBO and to me John Adams will always be William Daniels!

…I’ve never had HBO. But I have seen John Adams, and I know who Paul Giamatti is. Because he’s fucking incredible (Favourite: Cinderella Man, opposite Russell Crowe).

Also… John Adams…

Reblogging because SOMEBODY ELSE OUT THERE SHARES MY LOVE OF 1776 AND WILLIAM DANIELS. AHHHHHHHHHH

Dear Mr. Adams, I am taking my wife back to bed. Kindly go away.

Your obedient, T. Jefferson.

Is it sad that I have this movie pretty much memorized?

Perhaps I’m the one who should have written the Declaration after all. At my age there’s little doubt that the pen is mightier than the sword.

Oh my god. MY PEOPLE. *clings to you all*

I used to write out huge chunks of dialogue in my notebook in junior high when I finished tests early.

There’s a reason I have “obnoxious and disliked” as a tag, yo. <3

<3 <3 <3 I think I just convinced ironicsnowflake to put it in the Netflix queue.

Also, someone wrote a really FABULOUS 1776 fic for Yuletide as a present for a friend I’ve known since Potter days. LMK if you want a pointer to it.

…oh my God, I’m not the only one who was obsessed with it in junior high?!

Yeah, I totally wrote out large portions of the dialogue in my notebooks. And doodled.

Holy shit, I’m a weird person.

This and Into the Woods were my favorite musicals from when I was about six. Writing out that entire scene with Dickinson and Adams was pretty much my favorite pastime.

Well, now. You’ve got your way at last, Mr. Adams. The matter may now be discussed! I confess I’m almost relieved. There’s a question I’ve been fairly itching to ask you: why?
